Do you know whether her mother's maiden name was Cobb?
There is a Phyllis Turner born in Oct-Dec 1915, with the mother's maiden name as Cobb.
I am waiting for some certificates from the GRO, and the marriage of Studley Turner and an Eva Cobb is one of them.
Studley and all of his siblings were born in Northowram, Halifax, England.
Does any of this ring any bells?

Good luck,
Kate

freeBMD has 7 Phyllis Turners born in 1918, perhaps if you know a region you could pinpoint the one you want. Mothers maiden names are also given so her parents marriage cert should also be traceable.

Phyllis was my wife's maternal grandmother.

She married Herbert Finch in 1945.

Does anyone know her parents or siblings?

Is anyone related to her?????
