Sorry, the only detail i have on the 1841 census(Neath South Wales) is that he was not from this county and SCT (Scotish) shown, so hence my dilema, I have no idea what part of Scotland he came from.

I don't know if this helps. My grandmother was called Henrietta Watson (she married 'Mann) and was born in or near Findhorn in Scotland around 1920 - ish. There was a link with alcohol, if I remember. She had several siblings.

Hi All,
I am trying to trace the Scottish Originins of my ancestor William Watson, from th e1841 census I Know he was born C1801, but have no D.O.B. He was a Tea/ Spirit Dealer in Neath Until his death in 1850. Do any of you have Watsons in the tea/spirit trade in Scotland prior to these dates and then maybe have lost trace of your ancestor. Need help with this one. many Thanks!
