Aberystwyth Record Office, Marine Terrace, Aberystwyth is a good place to visit when you get to Aberystwyth. Census, Parish registers etc. and very helpful staff. Good luck.

I may have been looking at the same record - my ggg-grandad was William Williams, with a daughter called Mary. Is this the same one? They were living in Radnorshire in 1851.

The spelling for llanbadana faw should be

llanbadarn fawr... which may make it easier to find on the map when you visit..
