Joseph Davis was tried at the Old Bailey in 1801. He was sent to Australia. Born about 1762. Papers from his trial state he was 36 years old in 1801.Family think he was born in London but have no evidence.Looking for the family he left behind.
Records state he was a watchmaker. Believe he was married in England. Remarried in Sydney, Australia in 1831. Married Maria Marshall they had 5 children.Marriage cert states he was a windower aged 67 years.
Hoping this forum maybe able to help.
