I am looking for the following Parkers:
Albert Edward Parker (father) - born Stroud, Gloucestershire 1863
Mary Rachel Parker (nee Young, mother) born Swindon, Wiltshire 1862
William George Archibald Parker - born 30 July 1883, Balsall Heath, Birmingham
Vernon Henry Parker - born 16 February 1885, Balsall Heath, Birmingham
Edith May Parker - born 3 January 1888, Hanham, Glos
Albert Edward Parker (my grandfather) born 1 February 1890, Bath
Nellie Priscilla Parker - born 8 June1894, Bath , and
Elsie Dorothy Parker - born 12 May 1899, Aston, Birmingham.

I know Parker is a really common name, and I can't believe that there is absolutely no-one out there with a connection to any of these people and if there is I would love to hear from them - please get in touch.

Suzzanne, I have Parker's who seem to have moved along the canal's of the UK, mainly Staffordshire. What Occupations are shown on the above?

I did wonder whether they might have worked the canals, but Albert Edward is shown as a colour merchant (whatever that is) - the only other worker in the family is Vernon and he is shown as working with his father - all the rest are scholars.

heloo ive been researching my family tre my mum's maiden name was parker. her father harry eric raymond parker my grandad born 1927 was in the merchant navy. my grat grandfather henry george parker i dont have his date of birth also dont know very much about him other than he remarried in 1939 to a lady called gladys?? and they were from glouster. harry eric raymond married mary curry in1946. they had 4 children mary gladys joan and henry. sadly henry passed at the young age of 2years and 11 months. my grand parents settled on the isle of bute. ive got photo's etc if we are any relation to you please contact me at my email [email protected]
