Trying to find George William Roberts of Sunderlan

Looking for any information on George William Roberts born Sunderland Durham in 1844 and his son George William Roberts born Durham 1864. They are my GGGrandfather and GGrandfather on my Grandmother side, both were mariners.

George jnr migrated to Australia sometime around 1892. No sighting of George Snr after 1861 Census.

Any help would be appreciated

Have you made a mistake.

No sign of George Snr after 1861.
Do you mean he cant be found from the 1861 census because hes at sea.
