Where are they in 1851? Unless Charlotte has remarried and the children at home are going by the stepfather's surname, they just don't seem to be there.

I can't even identify Thomas, who we know for sure was still living, in 1832 ...

I am trying to find Robert Carter who was born abt 1805 Nottinghamsahire England. He married Charlotte Newton in West Drayton in 1824. His children were Elizabeth abt 1830, Thomas( my ancestor )abt 1832, Anne abt 1833, John abt 1835, Mary abt 1836, Rebecca abt1837, Robert abt 1838, Alfred abt 1839. The older children Elizabeth, Thomas, Anne and John were all baptised in St Peter Mansfield and the younger ones were baptised in Worksop Priory. I am now trying to find Roberts parents without very much sucess any help would be gratefully recieved .
