Looking for information on turners from lechlade gloucestershire.
john turner born 1824 lechlade,later moved to oxford area.belived to have been in the service of the east india company or some sort of malitia as appears and disappears on cencus records.
Wife Elizabeth nee Gaunt born 1832, Chatham Kent,cant find anywhere!
Sons John t, and Edward bon in India/Pakistan.Sons Jesse, Frederick, James Oliver and daughters Annie, Edith, Henrietta born Asthall,Radcot,Oxford.
Also possibly a Catherine Turner who is believed to have gone to South Africa with a group of Hocking relatives in early 1900's
any information welcome as i seem to have come to an abrupt stop!
