hello, im looking for a john Makin Turner born abt 1824 in bolton lancarshire, he married a margaret banks in 1862 as i have marrige certificate, but it looks as if he married someone else before her, as he has 3 children that are not hers, now the eldest boy john was born 1851 and his 3rd child was born 1858 si im guessing they were married just before and she died just after last child, then he married a margaret banks in 1862 in preston and had 4 more children, john makin turner father was also a john turner, theres a possibility he married a sarah jane banks possibly margarets sister, but there are 3 other woman on BMD, so not sure realy, im a bit puzzled iv looked everywere i can think off, im now very stuck, regards bex |

The marriage to Margaret Banks in 1862 has his middle name as Martin and not Makin. Which is correct? |

I would buy the 1849 marriage certificate to be certain of who he married. I can't tell from the 1851 census which one is him. |
