I have been trying to find my father George Eric Turner only to discover he died in dec 2003.
I would love to find out more about him as my mother and he divorced when I was 4 years old and was never told anything about him.
If he had any relatives still living I would love to know,
Here's hoping.
He lived in and around Blackpool
, Lancaster area.
His parents were John and Mary and they lived in Salford.
Fingers crossed.

You can get a copy of his death cert from GRO.gov.uk for £7
which should name the informant, hopefully a relative, and possibly an obituary may be available from the local press ?

Have you tried putting his name into the search box above? He may be on someone's tree on this site.

Thankyou all who have replied to this post I have the info about his brothers and parents and I am sending for a copy of death cert.
I have done an ammeded search but there was nothing on that .
Has anyone any idea where I can go from here.

Have you any contact with his brothers' families? Have PM'd some possible marriages for James.
