Rimbaud, there is only a very slim chance any relatives will see this. Much better to go hunting for them! If you use search trees facility above you might find some matches in other people's trees.

Many thanks, guys. That's them all right--1911 census I think?
Question is, where did they go after that?
Matches with other people's trees are brilliant, when they work, which they do some of the time. It's far from perfect though, because quite often a, there aren't any; b there are, but the owner of the tree doesn't pick up, or picks up and doesn't reply; or c it turns out it wasn't your relative after all.
It's an imperfect world: but it beats pounding the streets witha placard saying "Are you my grandad?"
Cheers

Thanks for the middle name Cagsie! as to whom she married: as we have no clue yet where the family went after 1911, she could have married anywhere in the country. For England & Wales alone, from 1930 onwards, Freebmd has 62 marriages for Phyllis M Turner: I haven't started to work that out at £7 a certificate to identify her! Warrington quite a good guess on nearest distance procedure, though: thanks Brummiejan. I might just follow that up.
