Any assistance welcome in the hunt for marriages of James Turner b.1890 Prestwick,Northumberland. Emigrated 1907 and traced to Vancouver. Also brother Henry b. 1894. Other brother Robert married Charlotte Annie Fatkin 1915 in Vancouver, did they have any family ? Sister Jane married Henry J McPherson a US citizen in 1907. All are shown on the 1911 Census with father Robert but I loose them after this. All three served in WW1, I have possible marriages for James and Henry but can not prove them. Any info would be greatfully received. Thanks all.

There's only 2 h/h's with Fatkin's in BC in 1911 - Sadie working as a domestic, and the main family.

My guess is all the BC Fatkin BMDs are related. You can see from the closure periods, you'll not get more there.
However, you could email the local libraries to see if they had any obits - they might mention ... survived by Turner nieces and nephews. You could also check the phone book for Fatkin - Turner's not feasible.
I use: http://www.mytelus.com/phonebook/display.do but others use whitepages. Remember that when it's noon in the UK, it's 4am in Vancouver.
