Patricia Handford (16/12/2005 16:53:41) | Update Message | Delete Message Does anyone have a TURNER in their tree that was a Thames lighterman/Bargeman. My grandfather William Alber Turner b.c 1883 was a Thames lighterman. He was married to Ellen Burke. My Great grandfather was Alfred John Turner, b c1860 and he was a Thames bargeman. He was married to Alice mary Horton. At the time of my grandfathers death in 1958 he lived in Tulse Hill, Brixton. |
