my grandad, john harvey,in his early days, was a Jockey, he married my Grandmother Maria, whom i beleive was nee Geraghty. They both lived in the kingsbridge area, and for atime, it seems that they were connected to a place in that area named lincombe, marlborough. My great Grandfather,Joseph Harvey, was the father of John, his Mother, was a Mary Jayne harvey,,nee Cranch both with connections with Lincombe Their are many links with enniscorthy, county wexford, and i beleive that my grandad John, later moved over their, and was employed by lord beatty as a stud groom,,in later years, he moved down to the west country, a place named Buckfastleigh, in S devon, and settled their with all his Family.Any guidance would be treasured, as i am at a loss on any forward movement in my tree B.T. |
