I am trying to trace any ancestors of John Turner who married Florence Emily Farmer in 1911. This was John Turners second marriage. They married at Birmingham Registry Office. John was 45 at the time.He was a stonemason by trade, and so was his father Thomas Turner. John Turner also had connections with Cardiff and Llanelly in Wales. John was my Grandfather but I never met him, as he died quite young with throat cancer, leaving my Grandmother to bring up her family alone. They had four daughters, Winefred, Lorna, Elsie and Phylis also a son Albert who died at 6 months old. If there is anyone out there who has a John Turner with a Father named Thomas with connections with either Birmingham or Wales I would love to hear from you. Waiting in anticipation, June |
