Any names or ages for the Walker family?

Address search can be done on National Archives - free search but costs to view the results

Hi Glitter Baby,

The problem is all the males are called Thomas Walker even to this day, generations of Thomas Walkers. The Thomas Walker I am looking for would have been born around 1879 in either Birmingham or the Black Country. He was living at that address in 1921 but his Father also would be at that address.

Unlikely that he would be at the same address.

This address was the address of his parents on his national service book in 1914. Father Thomas and mother Maud Elizabeth. I was hoping that if an address search was done that it may have thrown up the Walker family. Anyway thank you for your kind help.

cheers Pauline

no luck on ancestry, perhaps not transcribed yet or one of the burnt records.Did he stay in the army after 1920 if so the records will still be with the army

The only thing I know about Thomas & Maud is that his Father was a Vice Maker Journeyman which is the profession on Thomas juniors wedding certificate of 1921 and that I presume he lived at the same address as Thomas junior which was 6 Back 20 South Road Sparkbrook, Birmingham. This was also the address that Thomas junior gave in 1914 when he was in the army. Because there are so many Thomas Walkers it is really difficult to research. Thank you so much for your help.
Cheers Pauline.

Thank you for the information, I think that the family came from around Cannock, Dudley area. I do not have either Thomas/Mauds death certificate and I do not know Mauds maiden name.

I found this wedding on freebmd-the only Thomas and Maud. Can't find them on the 1901 census, however.

Marriages Dec 1892
Walker Thomas Belper 7b 1163
Walters Maud Mary M Belper 7b 1163
Belper is in Derbyshire.

Thanks David,

Will try and see how the dates fit in. It could be them, especially if Maud came from Belper. I do know Thomas came from the Black Country. David did it give Mauds maiden name?

David, sorry just seen her name was Walters.
