my gran was jane marie clamp ( nee walker ) b 6 nov 1895 in denaby yorkshire, her father was thomas walker b worcester 1868, he married elizabeth ann birkin from denaby b1872, his father was thomas walker b 1841 who married ruth (no details) his father was william walker b 1811 his wife was elizabeth ( maiden name i think was brooks ) b 1813. this is where i cannot find his parents, i have come to a dead end, i thought walker was a common name and would have no trouble at all of finding this family. could anybody help please ? , pam

i know it's a bit late, but thanks to you all, this is my family and you have been a very big help, thanks, pam.

i have come across a different wife for thomas walker 1841, i have ruth unknow 1841 and ann marie smith 1941, their children -caroline walker 1861-sarah ann walker1863- elizabeth walker - 1865, thomas walker 1868 ( my g.grandad )-william walker-1870, mary jane walker -1875-1957. all from dudley, worcestershire. also peter walker 1879, john walker 1879 and sharlot walker1885, these three i think, are from ruth unknown, according to the census records that i have found, this is confusing, can anyone sort this out please ? thanks, pam
