Trying to find Walker

Trying to find information regarding my Grandfather Tom Munro Walker, born around 1897 in Yorkshire.(?) I have not found any Birth, Marriage or Death Certificate for him. His Daughter, Patricia Mary Frances Walker (My Mother) was born in Harrogate 14th April 1922, I cannot find a Birth Certificate for her but have 2 Marriage Certificates and her Death Certificate(1991) Her first Marriage Certificate (1957) mentions her Father as: Tom Munro Walker (Deceased) Commercial Traveller. Her 2nd Marriage Certificate (1982) mentions her Father as: Tom Munro Walker (Deceased) Publican How strange that someone who had been dead for at least 25 years (I have no actual details of where or when he died) should be able to change his Profession during that time. Other family members cannot help as they have no interest in history. I hope someone out there may have a Tom Munro Walker in their history that may be able to lead me further back to other Family Trees.
