KATHLEEN WALKER,WEST ARDSLEY,LEEDS,YORKSHIRE DOB Feb 1929. I have just been told that my grandmother, Kathleen Walker, gave birth to 2 boys between 1952 and 1956, and had the babies adopted.I have no details of where the babies were born, as she 'went away' to have them, as was the done thing at the time, for unmarried mums.My mum was also born when my grandmother was unmarried, but it seems that my great grandparents found out about the baby and wouldnt allow an adoption to take place! If you were born and adopted at around these dates, and your birth mothers name on your birth certificate matches, please contact me! Kind Regards Kirsty James
