I'm trying to trace if there is any family members of my mothers in Scotland, or any where in the world that I can make contact with them. My mother (Jessie) was the daughter of single parent Catherine Walker (Katie) who had sisters, Margaret(peggy), Dorothy (doris) and Jessie(Joyce). They were brought up in the Gorbals area of Glasgow They also had a brother Robert(Bertie) and I know his daughter Margaret is still in Scotland. My mum was born in 1933 in 5 Thistle street, Gorbals Glasgow. Any information would be great, my mum is coming on 74 years of age and talks about these people often and I'm getting more curious about her family history. Thanks her daughter Joyce |
