i am trying to find out any information on the walker family who lived in the parish of glencairn in dumfreisshire in the mid to late 1800.the ones i know about are James Walkerb1862,his wife Sarah Waughb1863.They were married 1882,and the family is as follows,Jamesb 1882,Joseph Waughb1884,Jessieb1885,Elizabethb1888,Thomas Waughb1892,Robertb1894,Mary Littleb1896,Samuel Waughb1899,Andrewb1904. Jamesb1882 was killed in action first war 1917,Thomas was awarded the DCM in the first war,and went to new zealand around the mid1930.Elizabeth also went to new zealand in 1929/30.Mary b1896 went to australia at sometime.Andrewb1904 was my g.father and had very little contact with the rest of his family.any help woulg be good. |
