Trying to trace my grandfathers family, His name was William Walker, born in Wigan 1886. He had 3 brothers, John the eldest, born c1884, Thomas born 1889,and Robert born 1894. also 2 sisters, Alice born 1897, and Mary Ellen born 1901. They were all born in Wigan, Lancashire. Parents were Betsy and Thomas. The family moved to the Durham area, because all the men were miners. My grandfather married Sarah Parkinson in 1910, and after she died he married Florence Clarke, they then moved to Doncaster, where they had my mother Doreen. If anyone can help with William's brothers and sisters please contact me. |
