WILLIAM EDWARD WAKLER Hi, My step-father was William Edward Walker, born 12th September 1924 at Misterton, Lincolnshire, England. His Mother's name was Violet Walker (nee Viner). His father's name was William Walker who was a shepherd and then became a Publican at Coach & Horses, Mytongate,Hull,Yorkshire. I know 4 of his sisters names:- Dierdre, June,Olive and Eunice? He also had another sister and 2 brothers but don't know their names. William was a royal navy volunteer from 24/9/42 to 22/8/46. He ended up living in NZ where he met my mother and married her. I'm hoping this might help find some of his relatives as I promised I would try and find them for him before he passed away. Would love to hear from anyone who can help. |
