Member Since: May 2004 Posts: 1 Send Message	MY FATHER CHARLES WALKER WAS BORN IN CANADA AFTER HIS PARENTS, JOHN AND MARGARET WALKER EMIGRATED THERE. THEY RETURNED TO ASHTON IN MAKERFIELD SHORTLY AFTER DAD WAS BORN. HE HAD SISTERS ETHEL, PEGGY AND JENNY, BROTHER ARTHUR OR ALFRED AND ANOTHER BROTHER BUT DO NOT REMEMBER HIS NAME, WHO MOVED TO CARLISE WHEN HE MARRIED.. MY GRANDFATHER JOHN WALKER WAS ORIGINALLY FROM NOTTINGHAM I BELIEVE. DAD WAS BORN APPROX 1912 (JULY 23RD). MOST OF THE FAMILY CONTINUED TO LIVE AROUND THE WIGAN AREA OF LANCASHIRE. ANYONE KNOW OF THEM PLEASE?
