I am trying to find any information on a Alfred Albert WALKER who served on HMS Rodney during WW2. He was born in 1913.

Thanks, Neil

One can never tell -- does "any information" mean

- info about parents and ancestors?
- info about his life subsequent to WW2?

They're very different questions! calling for different kinds of searches, that different people might be able to help with.

If you *have* any information about him -- place of birth? parents' names? spouse? -- you also need to hand it over! And disclose the source of the info you do have, so nobody's duplicating effort by looking up things you already know.

It would be surprising if someone who actually knew about your AAW saw your message, but there are lots of complete strangers who might be able to help find stuff.

Gidday Neil,

Have a look at a couple of photos we have of a chap called Peter Charles Ross in our family tree. He has said his Mother was an Agnes Catherine Walker nee Ross. We have not trace of him except for these photos and a couple of documents. He married over in Tasmania around 1952. and left around 1954.

He was probably born around the early 1900's maybe in London.

Regards Sue and Jim.
