now have there marriage certificate, married 4th august 1912, esther was 20 yrs walter was 19, of 25 arthur st, camberwell,london s.e. christ church, walter was a greengroser, esther was a coal porter, any help would be very much appreciated kelly

Edited:- Checked census again and there's a big black line through Lizzie's age so it is possible that it is 25 and not 35?

hey yes thank you so much, i was going to ask you if you could find when esther's parents died, i looked and looked yeasterday with no luck, also for walters parents died, again i just couldnt find them, but even if you are unable to thank you you have really helped

Checked death records for William Waller, from 1891 to 1912. Lots showed but only two for Camberwell and only one that fits with date of birth:-

Deaths Mar 1910 (98%)
WALLER William 43 Camberwell 1d 491

so possible death record!
If this is him then he won't be on the 1911 census but he should be on the 1901!

When you get the marriage cert. post all the info that you find on it, ages fathers names and occupations, addresses, onto this thread and I'll see if I can find anything else!
Witnesses names can also give clues so post those too. Not much else can be done until then.
