I am still looking for the marriage of James ward and selina owen, james was born in newcastle upon tyne in 1868(approx) selina was born in Ledbury in 1865(approx). They are both on the 1901 census, living in Birmingham, selina was married to a William Owen in 1884, but on the census she is down as being married to James Ward, the children she had, have the sir name of ward, but on their birth certificates their sir name is ward owen. On my Grandads birth cert, his dads name is down as william owen, but when my grandad got married the name on the certificate as his father is James Ward its all very confusing and i cannot find a record of selina and james actual wedding |

there is this marriage but there is no female listed. (only 47% transcribed) I have looked at the image for Owen for there is no Selina there, but it could appear on another year as a late entry so it may be worth while ordering this one with a proviso you only want it if the bride's name is Selina. |
