Trying to find someone with a connection to an ancestor William Ward who worked in the fur trade in London in the 1850's onwards. Am seeking a son who may have left home at a young age.

Hi Marilyn,

Can you give more info? I have a William Ward in my tree. Actually I have a few. One of them lived in London and was married in 1852. His father was John Ward and I found on the marriage certificate that John's occupation was what looks like 'Hair ..........' I can't actually read the last word but I looked up old occupations and the hair bit seemed to be someone who dealt with horse hair and the like. If this seems to ring any bells let me know and I'll dig out the other info I have to compare.
