My husband is trying to trace his great grandfather, whom we know had the surname Ward and was either a silversmith or printer in Manchester. The only other information we have is that his daughter, Ellen Elizabeth married a William John Lightbody in 1891 in Belfast, so we are probably looking at between 1840 and 1870. My own searches have not proved very successful - could someone help or suggest where I might look next? It is a tall order I know but Any information would be great. |

Thank you for your help, but I think that Ellen Elizabeth hails from Manchester and was probably born around 1871. |
