can anybody help with parents/relatives of Joseph Ward b.1866 ?married to mary ellen renehan 1895 in halifax had 8 children with 5 surviving. I have so far been unable to get any information past the birth date and cannot find any info relating to his parents.

Unless Joseph was illegitimate, his father's details will be on the marriage cert..........................

What does that "?" refer to - marriage or age?
