Member Since: August 2003 Posts: 168 Send Message	My Grandfather's sister married a Ward Her name was Elizabeth Pearce( or Pearce-Bacon, or just Bacon or even Pearcy!!) \|Born around 1866 in Packmoor Staffordshire, she was brought up in an orphanage near Bristol after her mother died. We understand she became a District Nurse in the Hessle area( near Hull, Yorkshire.) The family had come from Norfolk, it is possible she might have been born there( Gestwick, Norfolk.) Older brother was called William, younger-Alfred- who emigrated to Canada. Do you have her in your tree? Regards, Muriel Armstrong
