Member Since: April 2005 Posts: 10 Send Message	My Grandfather Benjamin Ward was married in 1881 and on the marriage certificate it showed his father to be Daniel who was a greengrocer. I have since sent for Benjamin's birth certificate, which showed me he was born in 1862 in the workhouse, Chelsea, but the certificate only shows his mother, her name being Ann Ward, no father's name entered. I have searched but cannot find any information on Daniel or Ann. Can anyone shed any light on this please ?
