I'm trying to find details on Charlie Ward. His mother was Charlotte Ward, previously Charlotte Ironside nee Barnes. His father was George Ward. I think he was born around 1930 either in London or Surrey. Charlotte died in childbirth, the baby also dying. Charlie had an older brother George. Charlie was adopted after his mother's death although George was brought up by his older half sister, Elizabeth, my grandmother. Naturally his surname will have changed following the adoption but I have no idea what to. Sadly, Charlie's brother George has died and it is likely so has Charlie but myself and my mother would dearly love to learn about Charlie's life so if there is anyone out there who may know something I would be grateful if they could contact me. |
