I'm looking for information on a William or Bill Ward, born around 1900 somewhere in the North of England. He was based in Hillsborough, Co. Down area during the Second World War and was possibly a Royal Engineer. He had at least 2 children, born in the 1930s. There is also a family story about a connection with the Great Britain Athletics Team in the 1970s. I know this is vague, but if anyone recognises any small part of this story, I'd love to hear from them. Thanks. |
