I am looking for JOHN WARD - my first cousin. His father is ERIC WARD b1913 Wandsworth (Balham). Eric's brother was my father, STANLEY WARD. b.1911 d.1984 Their parents were James Ward b.c1850 and Ruth Ward nee Mclachlan b. c1884. James died in 1923 and Ruth remarried a Harold(?) LEMON. Eric kept in touch with his mother and step-father but Stanley did not. Ruth later died and Harold(?) Lemon re-married a lady named Dorothy. Stanley and Eric met again briefly (at the Farborough Air Show) in the 1950's, John was there together with my older brother, Peter. If you are out there John, I would dearly love to meet you and perhaps fill in some gaps in each other's knowledge of the family. |
