Anyone in NZ. I am trying to find details of Hugh Antony Joseph Ward b: 5th August 1937, Wellington, New Zealand, d: 14th December 1997. There may be no connection but the birth date and area fits in with an half brother my late father said my brother and I had when he was in NZ born 1936/7. In 1940 he returned to the UK with intentions of going back, how ever he met mum and stayed. He cept in touch with the girl (Name not known) in NZ but then she stopped writing Two years later. He did try to find his son again but failed. If anyone knew Hugh, his history or any living relatives I would love to get in touch. Hugh was married but no children as far as I know. As I have written he may not be the person I am looking for but the best lead yet. Belive a family knew him called (Samualsons). Regards Frank UK |
