Hi Alistair, The West Australian State Library' has an 'Ask a Librarian' service (query form on-line) ..they will check for the family's arrival....(& hopefully have their FULL names). There are some poss marriages for Ethel/Roy/Alex/Irene..but most have 2nd initial...so difficult to say if they're 'yours' .ie Irene M Watson m Nigel Fruin 1927 (Fremantle) Ethel M Watson m James Bell 1910. (more than just these) .. The Library may have them on early electoral rolls...may be able to see when some of them went 'missing' (Canada?). .... Lastly The 'West Australian' newspaper (on-line) has a 'can you help?' page on Mondays ..Valerie (WA) |
