I am trying to trace my grandfather who died on 13th May 1969. He ivied in Shiremoor which is near Newcastle Upon Tyne. He was however born in Liverpool on 20th March 1890. He and my Gran married on 20th Oct 1916.

What was his fathers name and occupation from the marriage cert,what is his occupation ,and are the witnesses any of his family ?

Plain Thomas Watson? Or was he Thomas FRANCIS Watson?

These are the two names that match for dob and birthplace in 1911:

Household WATSON, Thomas 1891 20 M Halifax Yorkshire (West riding) VIEW VIEW
Household WATSON, Thomas Francis 1890 21 M West Derby Lancashire VIEW VIEW

The first one is a miner, lodging with another family; the second is with his family, and father's name is John - does this match the marriage cert?
