Find Ancestors

I am looking for any information regarding the watson family who lived in the London area. I have the following information.

John Watson (1838) wife Frances Watson 1837
Son John 1865 born in Marlebone Middx. Married Sarah ?nee Prentice born 1886.
Children of John and Sarah were Minnie (my grandmother) John, Henry and Bert.
They lived at 4 Gillespie Road Islington.
Daughter of Minnie was my mother Eugenie Alexandra born 1902 died 1991. My grandfather had a greengrocers..
If anyone can help me I would be very much obliged.

Not sure what you mean with the ? after Sarah's name.....Is it cos you're not sure if she had a middle name or are you meaning she was married before

I am not sure of Sarah's maiden name and wondered if Prentice was right. So far as I know she only married John Watson.
I do not have any idea where they originated from but was always lead to believe that they were born and breed in London.
I knew nothing of my grandmother, minnie, and she is the one that I am most interested in finding out about. My mother lived with her grandparents for most of her formulative years. I am led to believe that Minnie married a man named Pettle some years after the birth of my mother but I cannot find any evidence of this but my mother's marriage certificate dated 1923 there is a witness named John Pettle. My mother and I never knew the same of her father but it was not John Pettle. My mother's grandfather John Watson was put down as the father of my mother.
I also would like to know anything about the brother of Minnie.

You are right, Minnie was born in 1886. You have certainly got the right Watson family but have given me another mystry, name, a boy called Frederick. I was never are of this child - another one to sort out.
My mother, Eugenie, was always known by the name of Babe. Her birth father emigrated to South Africa and asked Minnie to wait but she obviously did not. My mum, Eugenie, only saw him once when he was very young and he took her out to tea somewhere in London (somewhere very posh she said). I have no information as to whether he went back to South Africa or returned to England. I have found in the 1911 Census that Minnie was described as married in 1907 but I have found no mention of a husband's name.
