I am trying to trace the history of my grandfather, my mother's father. His name was James Edward Watson and in about 1900 was in the army serving, I understand, in the calvary. He was married to Matilda Haynes, nee Beacham. My mother never met him as he had disapeared shortly after her birth in 1900. |
