Hi to everyone.... Trying to find further information on my g-grandfather' family. James Watson born Sept. 1830 in Bishopsgate, London. Died 1874 - aged 47 years. Profession Barristers Clerk. His parents were Richard and Mary Ann Watson. There were 8 children Emma 1825, William 1829, James 1830, Ann 1833, Henry 1835, Jane 1837, Sara/Sarah 1838 and William (2) 1839 - all born in London. James went on to either live with or marry 2 sisters/cousins - Mary Ann Allen and Emma Ordish Allen - and fathered around 8 children between them!! Marian, Richard, Jane, Ann, Charles-my grandfather, Florence, Minnie, George and Edwin. Other names relating to the immediate family are Allen, Bartington, Cross, Drury, Gudgeon, Jobson and Loveridge. Hoping that someone can help. Regards...... Pam |
