I am trying to find a Margaret Williams born c.1853 (according to the census records) in Garndiffaith Mon Wales..father John (miner) married George Cooper (born Little Dean Forest of Dean) in Lanhilleth.. eldest son John reg .Pontypool..needle in haystack so far. Margaret

If you have cenus records, and have her marriage details, what is it you are looking for??

i have put births for 52 as well because sometimes there ages are a year less then the census

Garndiffaith is a village in Pontypool ,i have checked on the map for Wales

these will have to be checked out no one can be sure The birth cert will give parents names and you might find them on the 1861 census
margarets age would be around 8/9 years old

hi..thanks for your interest...I am trying to obtain the correct birth cert...have applied for two already which are incorrect...when i have this i can hopefully find her parents marriage cert. thank you once again margaret.
