Find Ancestors

Hi, trying to find info on Albert Henry Williams, born 1877 in Liverpool. His father was Samual Williams. I know he had a brother called Harold. Albert Williams married Annie Morton in 1907. Many years later he left Annie Morton and moved in with his brothers wife and Harold moved in with Annie....a kind of wife swap!!! have no other info on either Harold or Albert. Any ideas?

Hi, samuel's occupation is listed as labourer in 1907. They definately lived in Liverpool, West Derby or Everton area.

Unfortunately dont have Harolds date of birth, but family think he was younger than Albert.

dont think thats them in 1881 then!
i am having no luck locating tham at the mo but this is alberts birth so the best thing is to send for that to get both parents names and exactly where he was born and then come back to this thread if you need help later to locate them on census,but i will try again later and will post if i find them

Thanks Maureen, This sounds like it could be them............but will confirm with birth certificate..... on 1891 there is no Albert only an Alfred? but my grandmother, who was Alberts daughter was called Grace Gertrude, and gertrude is a name on the census, looking good. thanks for all your input.

just checked the image of 1891 that maureen found and it HAS been mistranscribed as it says albert not alfred on the original copy

I have today received birth certificate for Albert Henry Williams and birth certificate came back with mothers maiden name as clara Wigley, so think we can safely say that there is a match. This has now opened up another avenue for research on the Wigley family.
