have been trying to find cert of mariage of thomas charles williams to agnes jones who had two children both boys ,named garfield and lincoln both born dufryn st ferndale glam in1906 and 1908 my grandparents both beleived to be noncomformists.i hope the dates are a of benifit to anybody . ive tried the usual channels with no succes. fingers crossed |

many thanks for trying to help so promtly.i did know about the record in shrops but discounted it on the information i have.do you or have you any idea if any of the nonconformists records are kept in the GRO in cardiff. agnes,s maiden name is JONES, the birth cert records that the mother is agnes WILLIAMS formerly JONES , now in quoting a lady in the records office in swansea that if a birth cert records the mothers former maidens name as well as her married name take it they are married.i,m strugling here so bear with me please i,m 77 and never done this typing before.hope all this makes sense |

Had you noticed the marriage of a Thomas Charles Williams in the March quarter of 1904 in Pontypridd (Ref: 11a 656) on Freebmd? Its just that there are two men listed under this reference but only one woman so its just possible that, for some reason, Agnes's name is missing from the index. |

hi helpers.my grandfathers occupation ,he was a coal miner in local pits in ferndale glam,the thomas charles in BMD i missed probably because like you said nothing to connect to but shall not leave it at that and shall get in touch with pontyprid and try for a cert just in case it is the right one. is it still 7£ for a cert? excuse grammar and spelling its a long time since i was at school many thanks. ps this is the fourth or fifth at tempt at doing this hope you hav,t received the others else you,l think i,m potty gordon. |
