Are you saying you don't believe she's Williams daughter? |

Sarah was born with the surname Bone? The image in 1871 looks like she is listed as mother (of children) rather than daughter of John |

Hi Ozi, I'm not sure, I can't find any other trace of him or find a wedding in the records. Then I look at the 1881 Census as listed in there, is a John Middleton named as father, also born in 1831, at Abington Berkshire, and then when I do the mathmatics Sarah Bone born abt 1838, John Williams born 1831, (annie bone is only 1 month old in the 1871 census) I would have thought there would be more children, the only other one I have found is John. |

Based on the census details where Sarah is always listed with the surname Bone I would doubt she married anyone. As you say the children are listed in her birth surname. Maybe a way forward to to buy one and check if a father is listed as below. |
