Am trying to find a record of my g/grandad's death. He was born 22nd February 1872 at Ireleth Marsh Dalton, married 22nd September 1896, was on the 1901 census living in Dalton but no trace of him on the 1911 census. My g/grandmother married in 1911 and was a widow on the marrige certificate.

Have you got his wife and son Herbert Edward Bagnall Williams born 1906 on 1911 census.

Found it now,so Thomas would have died between 1905 - 1911.
Original view says Elizabeth Williams (married) and for 12 years

Hi Mary
yes we think Thomas did die between those dates but cannot find any reference, could he possibly have died abroad?

Hi did no one have any luck with my request for help in trying to find a record of my g/grandfather's death? Thomas Williams b 22/02/1872 @ Ireleth Marsh Dalton, married Elizabeth Odgers 22/9/1896. On the 1901 census they were living in Dalton, but no record of him on the 1911 census. My g/grandmother married in 1911, on the marriage certificate she was described as a widow.

It looks very much to me that son Herbert may well be the lodgers considering the middle name even if it says father Thomas on his birth cert ,so maybe Thomas Williams deserted her and went abroad?Maybe didnt die before Elizabeth remarried and she just said he did if he went abroad..?
And who is Laura Odgers mother?

Laura Odgers was daughter to Herbert Odgers, he was Elizabeth,s (my g/grandmother) brother. Herbert was married to Edith Jones. I decided that Thomas Bagnall was father of my granddad as on his birth certificate no name was given and eventually Elizabeth and Thomas Bagnall married, just a pity I can't tie up what happened to Thomas Williams.
