Is this the correct family, on the original they state they have had two children and one has died. Liz

William, just for future ref.

You seem to be looking at "surname board"s only. For instance, on the Conway surname board, there are several posts of yours about what seem to be closely related people.

If you see this at the top when you click on the Trying to Find board:

"To list the entire trying to find board again click here"

please do click there. You'll see where everyone else is reading your posts -- where no one has any idea there are related threads. The result is that someone who sees the latest thread may duplicate research done in a related one.

When you view the entire Trying to Find board, you'll also see a "How to use" thread pinned at the top that may help.

Sorry about the listing but as Annie's surname was Williams I thought it appropriate.

One of your Conway posts

http://www.genesreunited.co.uk/boards.asp?wci=thread&tk=1228302

begins: "Following on from Lindsey's answer to my query asking for details ..."

It's unlikely that anyone seeing that post had seen the other:

http://www.genesreunited.co.uk/boards.asp?wci=thread&tk=1228278

because no one else is reading the Conway "surname board". Queries "following on from" another query should always be posted in the same thread as the one they're following on from.

In fact, in the second one, alviegal asked: "Do you have another thread on this family?" and you ignored her.

By the way, have you considered doing 1911 searches yourself?

http://www.1911census.co.uk/search/tnaform.aspx

Even without paying (I don't), if you can find one person you're looking for, you can then search for others of the same surname "living with" them in the same place. Much more fun to hunt than to have it served up on a plate!
