Trying to Find Father

Bethan

Bethan Report 7 Jan 2011 20:29

Hi,

I was born in August 1987 in Aberystwyth, airlifted to Cardiff soon after. I've never been able to trace my father and the relationship with my mother has been torn. The only details I have are as follows:

Paul / Peter Williams (Apparently his brother was called Peter, so more likely Paul)
Age - Allegedly doing a University course studying Art in Cardiff University in '86 / '87 so I imagine late teens / early twenties at that time.

My mother is Nicola Jane Evans, born in 1967 (Possibly 1968) in either Aberystwyth or Birmingham. She went to Aberaeron Secondary School and studied in Cardiff University in '85, '86, '87 studying either cookery or teaching.

I know I also have a Godmother called Bethan Curtis (before marriage) who is the same age as my mother.

I really don't know much else I'm afraid. I'm desperately trying to find my father and I'm not sure of anywhere else to continue my search. Could anyone please guide me for the 'next steps', or anywhere else that would be a good place to try?

Any help is greatly appreciated,

Regards,

Best places to start looking for living people are sites such as Friends Reunited, Facebook etc. Or search trees on this site to see if anyone has these people on their trees. You could also ask for an electoral roll search.

However, you should bear in mind that your father may now have a new relationship and family and that they may know nothing at all about you. You need to tread carefully and it probably isn't wise to post as much detail as you have on an open forum.

Try Friends Reunited - there is a scools section on there and possibly a University one too!! try your luck!!
