Trying to find information on possible crew list for we believe 2 people from the census.....but just might be the same person using a middle name

Anyway the person or people that i am looking for is
George Williams believed to be born around 1887 in the west indies..and was a Ships stoker in the Merchant services. and was resident in cardiff in the early 1900's, and also shows up on a birth cert of his child around 1913 and a marriage cert of his child from 1932.....
The next person that i am looking for shows up on the 1911 census as a richard williams also born in the west indies around 1887 he also is listed as a seaman on that census.
I was hoping that someone out there might have access to crew list records.....and be able to have a look for these 2 men or one in the same man, ranging around the years of 1890 to about 1940 to see if they can in and out of the uk a lot and also if there is any other info listed with there crew logs.

Being the name williams and also coming from the west indies its a nightmare to find him lol

Many thanks for anyone out there that can help us.....and thank you for the time that it may take you.......grateful for all help.

wouldn't know how to go about finding ship connection - sorry - unless of course you have a name of a ship - I am in Cardiff by the way, but Williams is a very common name indeed - my paternal line is Williams!!!

Nichola

50 years worth of crew lists is an awful lot and anyway, you'd need to know the names of the ships!
