army national service records 1945 onwards

Please Im trying to find the regement and the service no of a james/jimmy wiliams he was born 6/4/1926 shresbury shropshire father robert he would of been called up in 1945 onwards he was a chef I know he was stationed in westbury wilts from 1946 regards eddie |

If the serviceman is alive, he must apply for the records himself.....if he can be shown to be deceased, his legal NOK can apply for the records |

Hi, although the Army Records Office advise that it can take months to receive the information, I received the info I requested in only a couple of weeks. |
